Twinkletoes Best of 2008

Sorry for the delay! I hope this arrives in time for these films to get the inevitable Oscar buzz that comes along with cinemojo praise. Anyway here it is:

5. Son of Rambow - I'm not sure why this film seemed to do nothing at all. I really liked it.
4. This Is England
3. The Pope's Toilet - The 2008 Philadelphia Film Festival audiences were wrong. This was a great film and well worth checking out in the very unlikely event that it becomes available in this country.
2. There Will Be Blood
1. Zodiac - This thing has been on a lot recently and I can't help but get sucked in each and every time I happen upon it. My respect and admiration for the film has only grown since seeing it for the first time.

I guess my honorable mentions would be a couple of guilty pleasures in Timecrimes, Black House, and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead.
