Twinkletoes says: 'This film is about the Zodiac killer that terrorzied the San Francisco area for much of the 1970's. It is more or less a police procedural but maybe the best of that genre I've ever seen. In working with this fact based material I think Fincher makes a wise decision to tone down some of the edginess that marks his most famous works. Downey, Ruffalo and Gyllenhaal all give very good perfomances as men who react in different ways as they find their lives becoming consumed by finding this killer.'
