Twinkletoes says: 'Bruno's plot manages to make the paper thinness of Borat's feel like The Godfather. And I think that is perhaps this film's major failing. There is some good stuff here. I laughed hard at the children's auditions and the wrestling match was, if not totally successful on a comedic level, inspired. But this film is just way too disjointed to be completely enjoyable. An interview with Paula Abdul. An appearance on the Richard Bey show. A visit to a psychic. I saw this thing recently and I have a tough time remembering how all of it fit together. Not helping matters is the sinking feeling that too much of this is completely staged and I think that contributed to the slightly lower success rate of the bits.'
