Twinkletoes says: 'This is basically a film noir crime film that takes place in a modern day high school. I'm not talking about a reinvention or updating of the classic film noir conventions. Other than a few knowing moments here and there, nothing new is brought to the table. One could easily imagine that with a change of location, that this script could have easily come out of 1940's Hollywood. Now if the idea of this little experiment sounds interesting to you, then you may really enjoy this film. I didn't. I've never been a film noir guy and I just could not immerse myself in a word where high school students act or talk like this.'
