Gino says: "Hmmm. I dunno. This felt a lot like a much-higher-buget episode of the original Star Trek series. Not too surprising, I guess, since it is a remake of a 1972 film. But I was under the impression that it would be highly emotional and bring up ethical questions. It wasn't and it didn't (at least for me). But there were just enough plot twists to earn 2.5 stars."

I'll say this about the original film. It was sort of like Kubrick's 2001, but slower, less interesting, and with subtitles. Hated it.
