★★★½ The Kids Are All Right

Gino says: 'A family of two teenagers with lesbian moms contact their sperm donor "dad". This threatens to throw the whole family balance out of whack, in more ways than one (both the dramatic, and the more subtle: e.g. upsetting a balance that was already tipping). Very nice movie, but I wouldn't say great. What I liked about it, was the actors had to sort of portray multiple levels of stuff going on in their heads, and do this well. Most notably Annette Bening.'
