Twinkletoes says: 'I have mixed feelings about this film. Its humor was quite often far more scatological than I generally like and certain scenes felt like they existed solely so the writers could show us something that happened to them that they thought was really funny. On the other hand, through it all was a very nice, very funny and ultimately very sweet coming of age story. If they had toned down some of the crude humor I think I might call this a classic of the genre. As it stands I'll do little more than recommend it.'
