This is film about teen pregnancy in an evangelical Christian school, starring Jena Malone, Mandy Moore, Macaulay Culkin, etc. I need to really evaluate this as if I were watching it as a teen, which is increasingly difficult to do as I am a double-teen now. The climax is at the prom! But the actors are like-able enough. Malone makes a good protagonist (kinda like Lindsay Lohan before the destructiveness set it). The execution was competent, but nothing special. Let me put it this way: This was a "Pretty in Pink" not a "Sixteen Candles". It was a "One Crazy Summer" not a "Better Off Dead."'
