Gino says: 'I think that most of us have gotten burned by collections of shorts in the past. These events ranged from un-memorable oscar shorts at the Trenton Film Festival, to butt-numbing at the International House, to shorts program of which we do no speak (but involved a cartoon penguin).

But don't let that make you avoid seeing this film, which was quite good! Even the worst of the bunch (I'm looking at you, Gus Van Sant.) was entirely tolerable, and a few of the segments were effective little gems. '
