Seriously, how does someone make a film that's over 3 hours long with about 35 characters, all actors you have heard of, and not have one enjoyable scene or one likeable character? Honestly, I feel like that would be hard to set out and make a film with that as your goal. It felt to me very much like a bad student film, only twice as long. I dare you: record it, then pick any scene at random and see if you don't think it is miserable. And I liked Gosford Park, for Pete's sake. '
