Twinkletoes says: "That's a 3.5 with a slight inclination to give it a 4. I liked this film a lot. I thought the performances were all excellent. I loved the structure of the film during the early part of the film. As usual Scorcese makes great use of music to really heighten my involvement with the film. Still, I was bothered by the fact that despite my fondness for the concept of the film, I had problems with its believability in the sense that "how could anyone not figure out who the snitches were?" Also, it sort of felt like some characters (one in particular) were just plot devices. I highly recommend this film but feel it lacks the rewatchabilty of some of Scorcese's best."

Gino says: "I started watching this late at night and intended to just watch part of it. But I really got sucked in and couldn't stop watching it. I agree with pretty much what Twinkletoes said, although I wasn't as bothered by some of those things; thus the 4.0."
