28 Weeks Later

[Twinkletoes: 1.0]

Twinkletoes says: 'This sequel to the somewhat entertaining "zombie" flick 28 Days Later was pretty well received by the critics. Even when looked at in the context of the horror genre I have no idea why. My problems are many. I doubt any of you will seek this thing out but if there is any chance you want to see this stop here. 1. It's not that the plot was confusing, it was just all over the place. Halfway through the movie the film takes a jarring turn of events. The only known actor in the cast and main character up to that point pretty much dies and the rest of the film is left to a bunch of characters that we've had very little time with. No of whom prove to be very interesting. 2. All scenes involving one of the zombies seems to have been filmed using a camera attached to the top of a jack hammer. For you budding filmmakers, this is never a good idea. 3. It's tough to root for the 2 characters that dominate the 2nd half of the film when they essentially caused all of the crap going on. 4. How does a US army doctor know the streets and subway tunnels of London so well? 5. So England was overrun by zombies 28 weeks ago and France never took any precautions to close the Chunnel? And the zombies are only coming through it now? 6. The US Army is really going to give full access to everything in their compound to a British civilian just because he manages one of the apartment buildings in the camp? Bad film. Avoid.'
