★★★ The District

I saw this Hungarian animated film at the 2006 Philadelphia Film Festival. It's about a lot of things but maily it's a musical about a group of inner city poor kids that travel back in time millions of years to bury animal bones where their homes will eventually be so that their homes will be on top of oil reserves and they'll all be rich. Not a bad film but not nearly as fun as it sounds. I will admit that the animation had a very interesting style to it.
