★★ The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai

I’ll admit that there were some hearty laughs in this film, but I can’t honestly say this was a good film. While it possessed one of the most bizarre story lines ever, it was rather cheaply made and it really lost steam with about 30 minutes left when it decided it didn’t really want to be a comedy anymore.
