★★★½ Bad Santa

[Twinkletoes: 3.5, Gino: 3.0]

Gino says: "I enjoyed this, and Thorton was certainly the right casting, but of course in the end it was a one-trick pony. Although, oddly, my favorite parts were the supporting characters played by Bernie Mac and John Ritter. I did laugh out loud at least once -- there was an exchange between the Bad Santa and the innocent kid who "adopts" him. At least Twinkletoes will find it funny if I reproduce it from the script here [by Glenn Ficarra & John Requa]:
