★★★ Rebel Without a Cause

[Gino: 3.0]

Gino says: 'Never seen it before. I enjoyed it. But maybe because I was not a post-war angst-ridden California teen, or maybe because the movie is 50 years removed in time now, I found the behavior of almost everyone in the movie odd and not entirely understandable. This detracted from my enjoyment. Acting-wise, I admired Natalie Wood, because I felt that James Dean (like Brando) could kinda act in whatever weirdo way he wanted at the moment, and I felt like that actors around him had to react to it. She did this well.'
