[Gino: 3.0, Twoshoes: 4.5] Gino says: 'It is a pleasure to watch a movie like this with ones kids -- a movie that is not loud and filled with pop-culture slickness. My kids were engaged and enjoyed it, and it was a calming experience. It's a fairly simple story of a family moving to a rural area and the kids exploring the back yard and befriending a Forest Spirit. Despite the cat-bus hybrid spirit(!), this was a far, far more grounded movie than Miyazaki's "Sprited Away". All that said, I can't quite give it a wholehearted recommendation; it was missing something for me that I can't articulate.'
