Gino says: 'I have the greatest affection and nostalgia for this movie about a group of kids about to lose their home to a country club developer, who go on an adventure for lost pirate treasure of local legend. They are all good little actors (particularly Lawrence "Chunk" Cohen). It's pitch-perfect when aimed at kids the age of the characters -- comedy, a little young romance, loads of action, a bit of serious overtone, (and a lot of PG-13 swearing going on!) The only reason I don't give it a higher subjective score is that it didn't hold up as well to an adult revisiting as I had thought it would.'
