[Tiny: 4.5]Tiny says: 'Triumphant, irreverent, and thoroughly entertaining musical about the changing, integrating world of mid 20th century America. Fantastic cast led by Nikki Blonsky in the lead role, a bubbly, indefatigable, not-so-conventionally-beautiful teen who yearns to be one of the "Nicest Kids in Town" on an American Bandstand sort of show. Wickedly funny lyrics at times. Life affirming without being sappy. Terrific supporting performances from John Travolta, Christopher Walken, and Queen Latifah. Strongly recommended. I'm not kidding. '

No effin way am I ever going to see this thing. The original movie was a steaming pile of crap who's only redeeming feature was that at the time it was practically the only John Waters film that did not make me want to literally vomit.
